Temporary diet for cats, ideal for the dissolution of struvite uroliths.

PROPERTIES AND FUNCTIONS OF ITS COMPOSITION:

- The diet has a reduced content of magnesium and phosphorus (components of struvite crystals) for the dissolution of struvite stones and prevent their recurrence.

- The urinary pH of 6.0 to 6.3 dissolves the precipitation of existing struvite crystals and minimises the risk of precipitation of new crystals.

- The diet has an increased sodium content that promotes diuresis, which is associated with reduced urinary mineral concentrations and increased frequency of urination.
